A man rushed and tackled WWE wrestler Bret “The Hitman” Hart at the time of delivering speech at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony in New York on Saturday night.

Bret Hart “The Hitman” was honored as The Hart Foundation was inducted as a part of the class of 2019 at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony Saturday night. While Hart was delivering speech about his Hart Foundation partner Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart, who passed away in 2018. Neidhart died last August at the age of 63 after falling at his home in Wesley Chapel, Florida, and hitting his head.
A man named Zachary Madsen, 26, ran into the ring and grabbed Hart from behind. The camera feed was instantly cut, but security officials and many of the WWE stars gathered at ringside quickly rushed into the ring to aid Hart. Wrestling stars Shane McMahon, Xavier Woods, Tyson Kidd and Curtis Axel, as well as UFC heavyweight and husband to Ronda Rousey, Travis Browne pull off the man. The man punched Hart after grabbing him at the WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony at the Barclays Center, New York police said.
Zachary Madsen, 26, was arrested Saturday night. He faced two counts of third-degree assault, criminal trespass, and one other misdemeanor charges.
