Appearing on the syndicated radio show The Breakfast Club, Cory Booker, who is running for president in 2020, confirmed he has a girlfriend, adding she would make a nice First Lady. He said, “I, I got a boo,” Booker with a laugh after being pressed by host Charlamagne tha God, “I’m dating someone [who] is very special.”
“There’s two more years, so give me some time,” he said. “My girlfriend might listen to this.” and added, “What have I gotten myself into?” he joked. “Out of all the issues we talked about this is the most uncomfortable part of this interview.”

“You don’t want to marry somebody now,” host said. “Once you start getting hot, you might become president? She might just want you for that.” Booker answered with laugh, “No, before I declared president, I’m dating somebody really special”. “Oh! So Cory Booker got a boo?” Charlamagne asked.
“I, I got a boo,” Booker laughed.
“Would she make a nice first lady, whoever she is?” Charlamagne tha God asked.
Booker said she would, which spurred a follow-up question: “Oh, so whoever this special someone is, is someone you may potentially marry one day?” Charlamagne tha God asked.
“I believe that we can build a country where no one is forgotten, no one is left behind,” Booker, 49, told his supporters in a rousing, 2-minute-and-25-second video. “It is not a matter of can we, it’s a matter of do we have the collective will, the American will? I believe we do.”
