Dennis Quaid and his fiancée, Laura Savoie, secretly married at a seaside resort in Santa Barbara, California, on June 2.
The 66-year-old actor and his 27-year-old bride were supposed to be married this past April in Hawaii with a second reception for friends and family in Nashville, but the ceremony had to be cancelled due to Coronavirus.
On June 2, Dennis Quaid and Laura Savoie traveled to Santa Barbara to a seaside resort and exchanged vows with only their pastor as their witness.
The couple reveals they eloped during a private ceremony on June 2 at a seaside resort in Santa Barbara, Calif., according to People.
“It was beautiful,” Dennis Quaid, 66, says of the nuptials.
“Just looking into her eyes, she was the most stunning bride,” says the Parent Trap actor, who has been previously married three times.
Exchanging traditional vows and Bulgari rings, the bride wore a stunning backless Chosen By One Day gown and carried a bouquet of roses and calla lilies designed by S.R. Hogue & Co. florist, while the groom opted for a light grey Hugo Boss suit.

Dennis Quaid and Laura Savoie met during a business trip in May 2019, becoming engaged in October of 2019, with the actor previously telling People it was “love at first sight”. It is Quaid’s fourth marriage and the first for Savoie.
“Love just has a way of surprising you,” Dennis says.
“I just love who she is as a person,” Dennis— who currently hosts the podcast The Dennissance through Audio Up, a company he co-founded — tells People. “Her character, her intelligence, of course her beauty. And her point of view of the world.”
Dennis’ new wife Laura Savoie, clearly feels the same, saying she had “never met someone who is so in love with life. It’s like nothing can bring him down. Just getting to do life with someone who lives that way is inspiring for me. It changes my perspective and it brings so much joy to every day.”
Originally from St. Louis, Laura Savoie attended Pepperdine University, where she was class valedictorian, and went on to get a master’s degree in accountancy at the University of Notre Dame.
