Hellboy Actor Ron Perlman Challenges Ted Cruz To $50,000 Fight In Support Of Black Lives Matter:
On Saturday, after Matt Gaetz criticized U.S. soccer teams for repealing a policy that required athletes to stand for the national anthem, Ron Perlman sniped tagging Trump, who has threatened to boycott games with kneeling, “The US Soccer team called and you guessed it… said they couldn’t give any less of a f**k about what you two dipshits think.”
Matt Gaetz responded by accusing Ron Perlman of hypocrisy for having played a white supremacist leader on Sons of Anarchy.
Gaetz called Perlman a “racial justice warrior” who “had no problem in Hollywood portraying the White Supremacist leader of a motorcycle gang.” Gaetz was referring to Perlman’s role on the FX series “Sons of Anarchy.” Perlman had to remind him that it’s fiction.
Replied Perlman, “Yessir, so true! So rewarding playing a**holes on tv. Tell me sir, how is it actually being one?”
Ted Cruz, 49, weighed in after Ron Perlman told Matt Gaetz that he is the second “ugliest politician walking” after Ohio representative Jim Jordan.
The senator wrote to Perlman: “Listen Hellboy. You talk good game when you’ve got Hollywood makeup & stuntmen. But I’ll bet $10k—to the nonpolitical charity of your choice—that you couldn’t last 5 min in the wrestling ring w/ @Jim_Jordan w/o getting pinned. You up for it? Or does your publicist say too risky?”

Ron Perlman, 70, the star of Hellboy, The Name of the Rose, Sons of Anarchy and other hits, responded with some colorful language before saying he would wrestle Cruz while offering to donate $50,000 to Black Lives Matter if he were to lose.
“I tell you what teddy boy,” Perlman replied, “since mentioning jim jordan and wrestling is… problematic, why don’t we say f**k him and just make it you & me. I’ll give 50k to Black Lives Matter and you can keep all the tax payer money you were thinking of spending.”
Responding to Perlman’s challenge, Cruz shot back, “I get it, you’re rich. But, apparently, soft. You sure seem scared to wrestle Jordan (whom you keep insulting). Can’t take the heat? Need to get a manicure?”
“Teddy, Teddy,” Perlman replied, “what kind of a muthaf**ka offers to have another guy, probably asleep at the time, kick another guy’s a*s?”
“Let’s get back to bidness ted,” Ron Perlman, who recently starred in the action film “Clover” and is set to reunite with his “Hellboy” director Guillermo del Toro on “Nightmare Alley,” concluded. “jim jordan’s too easy, just a little bitch. But you teddy, you talk shit about New York every chance you get. My hometown. It’s personal. Let’s go mofo!”
In June 2018 Ted Cruz challenged the comedian and late-night TV host Jimmy Kimmel to a game of one-on-one basketball, after Kimmel said he looked “like a blobfish”.
Ted Cruz won, but the real beneficiaries were the Texas children’s hospital and Generation One, a Houston education non-profit, which shared more than $80,000.
