Jeffrey Epstein, 66, was found dead at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York.
According to report, a gurney carrying a man who looked like Epstein was wheeled into New York Downtown Hospital around 7:30 a.m. According to Fire Department “A call for a reported cardiac arrest came in at 6:38 a.m.”
Wealthy financier Jeffrey Epstein 66, had been accused of misusing physically and trafficking girls as young as 14. He was charged with one count of trafficking conspiracy and one count of abusing, and faced up to 45 years in prison if found guilty.
How Did Jeffrey Epstein Die:
Jeffrey Epstein hanged himself. He was transported in cardiac arrest from Metropolitan Correctional Center to New York Downtown Hospital.
Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide just two weeks after Epstein, had been found injured and in a fetal position in his cell. He was found injured with marks on his neck.
Epstein was taken into custody on July 6 in Teterboro, New Jersey, at the time of returning from Paris on a private jet.
Brad Edwards, an attorney representing Epstein accusers, said in a statement that his death “both unfortunate and predictable. The fact that Jeffrey Epstein was able to commit the selfish act of taking his own life as his world of abuse, exploitation, and corruption unraveled is both unfortunate and predictable,”
“The victims deserved to see Epstein held accountable, and he owed it to everyone he hurt to accept responsibility for all of the pain he caused.”
