Go Soo Jung’s agency Story J Company revealed on February 12, that actress Go Soo Jung recently passed away. Go Soo Jung was 25.
Go Soo Jung, who appeared in the hit 2016 drama “Goblin” and in a Seoul promotional music video with K-pop superstars BTS, has passed away at age 25.
Go Soo Jung’s agency, Story J Company, made the announcement on Instagram on 12th February Wednesday, days after her funeral, which reportedly took place on February 9.
Go Soo Jung’s funeral procession was held privately on on 9th February (Sunday) with only her family members in attendance.
Go Soo Jung’s agency, Story J Company said in a statement to Korean media outlets, “A few days ago, actress Go Soo Jung bid farewell to this world and became one of the bright stars in the sky.”
“We will always remember actress Go Soo Jung and her glowing smile which brightened the world. Please wish her a safe passage,” Go Soo Jung’s agency, Story J Company said.

Go Soo Jung died on last Friday, 7th February because of an unspecified fatal illness.
The rookie actress Go Soo Jung made her acting debut in 2016 in the Korean drama “Goblin” as one of the ghosts who followed the character Ji Eun Tak (played by Kim Go Eun) around, followed by “Solomon’s Perjury” the same year.
In 2017, actress Go Soo Jung appeared in the BTS music video “With Seoul by BTS” released by the Seoul Tourism Organization on Dec. 12, 2017 on YouTube. BTS music video “With Seoul by BTS” aimed at promoting Seoul as a tourist destination, has racked up 8.86 million views as of writing.
