Lil Reese Shot: The Chicago Rapper In Critical Condition – Rapper Lil Reese was critically wounded in a shooting in Chicago on November 11, Monday, about 2:30 p.m. local time.

Chicago rapper “Lil Reese”, who’s real name is Tavares Taylor, was the victim involved the shooting in the area of Markham and Country Club Hills.
Country Club Hills police responded to 167th Street and Pulaski Road around 2:30 p.m.
Cops informed that when they arrived to the scene, officers found a vehicle with fresh blood in the driver’s seat and on the ground next to the door. According to witnesses’ claim a man had taken the victim from the scene.
Officers checked nearby hospitals and they found the male victim with a gunshot critically wound to the neck area at South Suburban Hospital’s emergency room in Hazel Crest.
Lil Reese was rushed Advocate South Suburban Hospital then transferred to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn after being wounded.

Witnesses informed police the Chicago rapper “Lil Reese”, who’s real name is Tavares Taylor, was pursued by a driver of another car during a chase. Witnesses reported hearing almost 12 gunshots during the chase.
The driver of that vehicle described as white, grey or silver sedan, possibly a Chevrolet Malibu, with Wisconsin licenses plate, got out and shot the man with what witnesses called a small rifle and then fled the scene.
Country Club Hills police are investigating, and no arrests have been made.
Lil Reese, 26, was arrested multiple times before — In 2016 after being picked up on “indirect criminal contempt charges,” — arrested twice in 2013, on theft, for allegedly stealing a 2006 BMW.
The rapper, 26, has worked with artists like Rick Ross, Drake, Juelz Santana, Lil Durk, Young Jeezy, Twista, Fredo Santana, Wale and Waka Flocka Flame and released a collaborate EP, Supa Vultures, with Lil Durk.
