Michael Bay Sexualized Megan Fox When She Was 15 – A clip from an episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” went viral this weekend, showing Jimmy Kimmel laughing while actress Megan Fox explains how director Michael Bay sexualized her when she was 15.
Michael Bay Sexualized Megan Fox When She Was 15:
Megan Fox has been trending for an old 2009 clip where she confesses how Michael Bay sexualized her when she was barely 15.
With the clip of Fox’s interview popping back on social media, Michael Bay, the director of “Bad Boys,” “Transformers,” and a handful of other formulaic mainstream movies, finds himself coming under heat from users on Twitter.
The video, in which Fox describes her first time working with Michael Bay on 2003’s Bad Boys II, first surfaced with a Twitter thread that read, “Clip from 2009 where Megan Fox tells a story about Michael Bay sexualizing her as a 15 y/o the crowd laughs, and Kimmel makes gross jokes teen girls being preyed on by older men has never been taken seriously and still isn’t.”
In 2007, Michael Bay allegedly got Fox to audition for ‘Transformers’ by dressing Megan Fox in a bikini and washing his Ferrari in his driveway. Fox first met Michael Bay when she was 15-years-old, as an extra in ‘Bad Boys II’. Bay was 36.
“The first time I ever worked with [Bay], actually, I had just turned 15 and I was an extra in ‘Bad Boys II,'” Megan Fox told Jimmy Kimmel. “They were shooting this club scene, and they brought me in, and I was wearing a stars-and-stripes bikini and a red cowboy hat and, like, six-inch heels.”
Megan Fox Auditioned By Washing Director Michael Bay’s Car In A Bikini:
“He approved it, and they said, ‘You know, Michael, she’s 15, so you can’t sit her at the bar, and she can’t have a drink in her hand,'” Megan Fox recalled. “So his solution to that problem was to then have me dancing underneath a waterfall getting soaking wet.”
The crowd and Jimmy Kimmel laugh, and he said, “Perfectly wholesome.”
“At 15, I was in 10th grade,” Megan said. Jimmy Kimmel laughingly said, “Wow.”
“So that’s sort of a microcosm of how Bay’s mind works,” Fox added. Kimmel replied, “Yeah, well, that’s really a microcosm of how all of our minds work, but some of us have the decency to repress those thoughts and pretend that they don’t exist.”
Fox would later appear in Michael Bay’s “Transformers” movie in 2007. Fox reportedly had to do her audition at Bay’s house, where Jimmy Kimmel washed his Ferrari as he filmed her.
“[Fox] told me she went to director Michael Bay’s house to audition and he made her wash his Ferrari while he filmed her. She said she didn’t know what had happened to that footage,” according to The Guardian report in 2009. “When I put it to Bay himself, he looked suitably abashed. ‘Er, I don’t know where it is either.'”
Megan Fox said that director Michael Bay and several cast members of the 2009 “Transformers” movie “Revenge of the Fallen” were at her “five-hour” wardrobe fitting.
“The process of picking those outfits—I don’t have much of a say,” Fox said. “Mike [Bay] was auditioning Ramon [Rodriguez] and some of the other characters, and there was just a room full of men upstairs in his office—it was Shia, Ramon, two other actors, and [Bay]—and I had to, like, come up and down [the stairs] and knock on the door and try on all my wardrobe, and I had, like, 18 different outfits. It was white-jean shorts, a pink belly-shirt, motorcycle boots, and we went through a whole thing. Mike was selecting them in the process of auditioning.”
“Megan Fox has been sexualized from the age of 15 when Michael Bay made her dance in a bikini and wash his car as part of her audition for Transformers,” @ephwinslow wrote. “When she spoke out, she was labelled ‘ungrateful’ by the media and her career was destroyed by Bay and Steven Spielberg.”
