The 52-year-old Pamela Anderson took to Twitter on Thursday to share a pair of photos of herself in her Halloween costume.
The first photo shows topless Anderson in high-waisted underwear and white paint on her breasts.
And the other photo the Canadian actress and animal rights activist looks over her shoulder at the camera as she sports the over-sized headdress and tipping it to the camera.
“Happy Halloween,” Pamela wrote, alongside a ghost emoji.
Pamela Anderson gets Backlash for these two snap on social media and several users calls out the model for cultural appropriation.
One wrote – “I hate to break the news to u Pamela but this is the quintessential cultural appropriation that people are not liking. The Native head dress. Not so cool.”
“If only you were as considerate of indigenous culture as you are about animals” – Commented Raven Art Gallery.
One user commented, “Cultural appropriation is not a good look.”
“Pamela Anderson trying to decide whether to perpetuate the genocide of indigenous Americans, or actually save seals by stopping the destruction of their habitats.” – another wrote.
“Sooooo big on respect for animals but not so much for humans who don’t look like you?? Got it, Pam,” – another commented.
Many users even claimed that they were blocked by Pamela Anderson when they challenged her on her Halloween costume.
