According to Lorraine Warren’s son-in-law Chris McKinnell, “She died peacefully in her sleep at home last night. Last night my grandmother, Lorraine Warren, quietly and peacefully left us to join her beloved Ed. She was happy and laughing until the very end.”
The Lorraine Warren lived in Monroe, CT.
The New England Society for Psychic Research announced Friday morning that Lorraine Warren passed away in her sleep Thursday night.

Lorraine Warren’s husband died in 2006, “I am doing it for Ed,” Lorraine said at the time. “If I didn’t, what kind of wife would I be?” She said, “Then I looked up at the refrigerator, there was a picture of Ed. It’s one of my favorite pictures of him because it’s very casual and natural and he’s smiling. And he’s wearing a shirt that says, ‘No Fear, No Excuses.’ And I knew right then and there that as hard as it was going to be, I would go on.”
