According to Authorities a 2016 Dodge 2500 truck collided with the riders on U.S. 2 in Randolph as they investigate the crash. Authorities received a call around 6:30 p.m.
The pickup truck, a 2016 Dodge 2500, was traveling west on Route 2, truck’s driver was a 23-year-old man working for a transportation company based in Springfield, Massachusetts, authorities said.
“It’s tragic for those involved, tragic for the families, so we’re doing our job, we’re doing our work and our thoughts are with the people who were adversely affected by this.”
“There was debris everywhere,” said Miranda Thompson, 21, of Manchester, who was several cars back and recalled seeing a truck in flames on the side of the highway and six motorcycles.
“People were in the grass. There were people putting tourniquets on people, trying to make sure they didn’t move,” she said. “You could tell people were lost who it happened to … It was a sad day for all of them.”

The pickup truck, a 2016 Dodge 2500, controlled by Volodoymyr Zhukovskyy, 23, was traveling west on Route 2 while the motorcyclists were traveling east, police said. Seven motorcyclists were killed and three others injured after the accident with a pickup truck. The cause of the deadly collision is not yet known. The pickup truck was on fire. There have been no arrests made in the incident, and it is still under investigation, McCormick said.
Young said the bodies of the seven victimes were taken to the medical examiner’s office in Concord. The identities of the crash victims will not be released until all families are notified, Young said. The driver of the pickup truck fled the scene, or whether drugs or alcohol were involved.
According to state police Parts of the rural two-lane highway was closed Friday evening and would be closed for several more hours as investigators comb the scene for clues about what caused the crash.
The National Transportation Safety Board said Sunday on Twitter NTSB is sending team to motorcycle-truck crash near Randolph, NH, to conduct safety investigation. Team will coordinate with local authorities who are doing their own investigation. “This is staggering and it’s tragic beyond description,” St. Clair said. “You have a bunch of people out for a ride enjoying one of the first nice days we had. To have this happen, it defies logic quite frankly.”
“The scene is pretty large and there’s a lot of work to be done,” Vetter said. “I don’t know that I have ever seen a crash with this much loss of life. It was a pretty significant accident.”
