Snoop Dogg posted an obscenity-laden video social media saying about Gayle King over her interview with WNBA star Lisa Leslie, “We waiting,” he stated, “When. Or is it only blacks that y’all wanna interview and try and tarnish their reputation over accusations f*** both you h*** on behalf of the whole hood u b****** not with us.”
Snoop Dogg addressed Gayle King as a ‘funky dog-head b****,’ and appeared to threaten King, telling her to ‘back off, b****, before we come get you’.
The president of CBS News, Susan Zirinsky said, “We fully support Gayle King and her integrity as a journalist, We find the threats against her or any journalist doing their job reprehensible.”
In response, Snoop Dogg, real name Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr, posted a video saying, “”I’m a non-violent person. When I said what I said, I spoke for the people who felt that that Gayle was very disrespectful toward Kobe and his family, I didn’t want no harm to come to her, I didn’t threaten her. We speak from the heart. Some of you who have no heart don’t understand that.”
