Stan Kirsch, who starred Richie Ryan for five seasons on the 1990s syndicated hit fantasy drama Highlander: The Series, died at the age of 51, on Jan. 11 at his Los Angeles residence.
Kirsch’s wife, Kristyn Green, confirmed Stan Kirsch’s death, “I want to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support. I haven’t been able to respond to all the texts, calls, emails – but have read or listened to every single one of them. I feel surrounded by love and am forever grateful to each and every one of you.”

According to Law enforcement sources, Stan’s wife, Kristyn Green, found her husband hanging in their bathroom.

Stan Kirsch also appeared on JAG, Invincible, Family Law and, in perhaps his most memorable guest starring role, Friends. He starred Ethan, Monica’s underage boyfriend in the 1995 Friends episode “The One With The Ick Factor.”
Kirsch, who made his debut appearance as director and producer with the film Straight Eye: The Movie in 2004, founded his own acting studio called Stan Kirsch Studios in 2008.
