Surviving R. Kelly Docu-Series:
Due to the R&B star’s alleged history of abuse against young women, Lady Gaga and Jay-Z denied to be interviewed for “Surviving R. Kelly Docu-Series” R Kelly executive producer dream Hampton said, “It was incredibly difficult to get people who had collaborated with Kelly to come forward,” and also revealed that “I remember Ahmir [“Quest love” Thompson] was like, ‘I would do anything for you but I can’t do this’,” said Hampton. “It’s not because they support him, it’s because it’s so messy and muddy. It’s that turning away that has allowed this to go on.” Watch The Pied Piper of R&B Full Episode – Surviving R. Kelly
Kelly has frequently denied the allegations. Kelly told that he was abused by an older female relative in childhood, first in his 2012 “Soulacoaster” autobiography and several times over the periods. In “Surviving R. Kelly,” the singer’s younger brother, Carey, says about similar experience. Carley said, “If he’s saying (he was abused), I don’t think he’s lying,” and also added, “Because it happened to me. It happened to me. ___ I was molested by a family member, and it shook my world, because I didn’t understand it. I knew it wasn’t right, even though I was 6 years old at the time.”
