Rapper Slowthai had made leering comments to host Katherine Ryan and wrapped his arms around her, while the 8 Out of 10 Cats regular was hosting the event at the O2 Academy Brixton.
The 25 year old Slowthai was accepting the award when he approached comedian and presenter Katherine Ryan on stage and started hitting her at one point grabbing her and telling her to smell his cologne.
Rapper Slowthai had asked host Katherine Ryan on stage at Brixton Academy Slowthai, to “smell my cologne,” adding: “Smells good, doesn’t it?”
With his arm wrapped around Ryan, Slowthai said the audience that she wanted him to “tend to her flowers”.
Slowthai said on the microphone: “Baby girl … if you want to do something, see me later … you ain’t never had anyone play with you like I’ll play with you.”
Katherine Ryan’s co-host Julie Adenuga can be heard yelling, “What is going on? Mura Masa come up onto the stage and perform something!”

In response, Katherine Ryan mocked Slowthai by calling him the “You are like the hottest guy I’ve ever seen” and that “she is so thirsty for his c*ck”, prompting laughs from the audience. “Thank you Mike from Love Island. You are younger than my babysitter.”He didn’t make me uncomfortable, Katherine added.
The Midlands 25-year old rapper Slowthai threw his sparkling wine glass into the audience and jumped off stage and being held back by security.
Katherine Ryan, 36, tweeted, “This is why we need women in positions of power. I knew he had lost from the moment he opened his mouth like any heckler coming up against a COMIC – not a woman – a COMIC. I was operating 2/10. What a sweet boy. I defused it.

NME has confirmed the Midlands 25-year old rapper Slowthai was removed from the awards.
